About NFESD:

The National Forum for Environment and Sustainable Development (NFESD) is a Yemeni civil, non-governmental, non-profit organization that was established in Yemen in 2021. The forum is working in areas related to the environment, sustainable development in Yemen.

About the Role:

NFESD recognizes the importance of strong relationships with our stakeholders, partners, and beneficiaries. As a Relationships Volunteer, you will play a vital role in building and nurturing these relationships, contributing to the overall success and impact of our organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Relationship Building: Establish and maintain positive relationships with various stakeholders, including community members, donors, partner organizations, volunteers, media representatives, and government officials.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with stakeholders through various channels, including email, phone, social media, and in-person interactions.
  • Event Support: Assist with the planning and execution of events, workshops, and meetings aimed at strengthening relationships with stakeholders.
  • Outreach: Conduct outreach activities to engage with stakeholders, gather feedback, and identify opportunities for collaboration.
  • Information Dissemination: Disseminate information about NFESD’s programs, activities, and impact to stakeholders.
  • Relationship Management: Maintain accurate records of stakeholder interactions and contribute to the development of relationship management strategies.
  • Volunteer Support: Provide support to other volunteers and contribute to a positive and welcoming volunteer environment.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Enthusiasm for building and nurturing relationships.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Experience in communication, public relations, event planning, or related fields is desirable but not required.
  • Fluency in local languages is an asset.
